The Bolsover Christmas Festival has been organised by Old Bolsover Town Council, local community groups and volunteers and will feature:

Performances by BUDDIES, local schools and other artists. Bring your letters to SANTA who will be there to collect them. Free entry to the Castle for Bolsover Residents. CAROL SINGING around the Christmas Tree with Whitwell Brass Band and Phoenix Singers.

Parks

Hornscroft and Shuttlewood Parks have both recently benefited from major investment totalling over £250,000.

The Friends of Bolsover Parks are looking to make further improvements to Hornscroft Park’s ex bowling green. The Bolsover Re creation and Play Initiative has also identified works at the King George V Field, Stanfree Park and Vale Park, funding has been obtained for the Stanfree Park but further funding is being sought.
